About This Project
RER Electrical & Solar Ltd were engaged to carry out a full LED sports lighting retrofit at Crosserlough GAA Club, upgrading the existing infrastructure to deliver enhanced performance, energy efficiency and operational control across the entire grounds. The project was designed to provide reliable, high-quality illumination while improving safety, reducing energy consumption and supporting flexible use of the facilities
Complete LED lighting upgrade across the main pitch, 4G and 3G training areas, and 1.8km walking track, delivering uniform light distribution and improved lux levels.
Upgraded power and distribution systems including feeder pillars, distribution boards, protective devices and enhanced earthing to improve system resilience and compliance.
Installation of advanced lighting control systems with programmable controls, time clocks and photocells, enabling zoned operation and energy-efficient scheduling.
This upgrade provides Crosserlough GAA Club with a modern, reliable and cost-effective lighting solution that enhances match play, training and community use. The project delivers long-term energy savings, improved performance and a future-proofed electrical infrastructure built to support the club’s continued growth.
