About This Project
Michael’s Community Care, Northside Shopping Centre, Dublin
RER Electrical & Solar Ltd in collaboration with Elliott Properties Ltd, undertook a comprehensive electrical and systems upgrade at St. Michael’s Community Care. The scope of works included:
Electrical Infrastructure & Power Distribution: Complete electrical fit-out tailored to a healthcare and community facility, including a new high-capacity main switchboard, structured cable containment, and safe, compliant power distribution throughout the premises.
Lighting, Safety & Emergency Systems: Installation of energy-efficient lighting and power systems, fully integrated fire alarm systems, and certified emergency lighting to ensure occupant safety and compliant evacuation routes.
Security, Communication & Care Systems: Implementation of access control with video intercom, nurse call systems for patient support, and refuge call systems to assist safe evacuation for individuals with mobility impairments.
Throughout the project, we liaised closely with the shopping centre management to coordinate works in a live environment, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations while maintaining a safe and secure working area.
