Dowd Engineering

RER Electrical & Solar Ltd carried out a comprehensive energy audit at Dowd Engineering, assessing operational energy use and identifying opportunities for long-term efficiency improvements. Based on the audit, we designed and installed a custom 30kW Solar PV system with a 10kW three-phase inverter and 10kW battery storage to maximise renewable energy generation. Project Highlights:

• We managed all ESB documentation on behalf of the client, ensuring a seamless approval process.

• The system is expected to produce approximately 33,000 kWh per year.

• Significantly reducing grid electricity consumption and helping Dowd Engineering lower both energy costs and their carbon footprint.

This project provides Dowd Engineering with substantial long-term savings, improved energy efficiency, and a reduced environmental impact through the adoption of renewable energy.
